Study On Relationship Between TLR4 Gene Polymorphism And The Asthma In Uygur And Han Nationalities In Xinjiang

Objective: To study the relationship between polymorphisms of AsP299Gly andThr399Ile site of TLR4 gene and asthma in Uygur and Han nationalities in Xinjiang. Methods: The polymorphisms of AsP299Gly and Thr399Ile site of TLR4 gene were identified with polymerase chain-reaction restriction fragment length polymorphisma(PCR-RFLP)in 132 patients and 132 healthy people,including Uygur 65 patients and healhy pepole;Hans 67 patients and healhy people. Questionnaires were designed to survey the risk factors of all people,the LgE,EOSand lung function were detected. Results: 1.The level of IgE, EOS, body mass index, the percentage of predicted value of forced expiratory volume in one second((FEV1) and forced expiratory volume in one second to forced vital capacity ratio(FEV1 / FVC%) were significant higher in the group of patients of Uygur and Han nationalities than each control group,the diffierence had statistical sianificance(P<0.05). To compare the level of IgE, EOS, body mass index, the percentage of predicted value of forced expiratory volume in one second((FEV1),forced expiratory volume in one second to forced vital capacity ratio(FEV1 / FVC%) ,rate of smoking, family history and ratio of atopy between Uygur cases group and Han cases group, the diffierence had no statistical sianificance(P>0.05).The result of AsP299Gly andThr399Ile site of TLR4 gene of all people was AsP/AsP100% and Thr/Thr100% respectively.Conclusion : The mutation of polymorphisms of AsP299Gly andThr399Ile site of TLR4 gene in Uygur and Han nationalities patients with asthma were not discovered in Xinjiang. A likely incorrelation exists between polymorphisms of AsP299Gly andThr399Ile site of TLR4 gene and asthma in Uygur and Han nationalities in Xinjiang.
