| Objective:To investigate the relationship between the expression of HSP70 and P53, and determine their relation to clinicopathological variable in HCC. Methods: The expression of HSP70 and P53 protein were detected by the immunohistochemical methods in paraffin-embedded HCC specimens and 10 specimens of normal liver tissue. Results:1. The positive rates of the expression of HSP70 were 47.8%(33/69),21.7%(15/69)in HCC,para-cancerous tissue respectively,The positive expression of HSP70 was not found in normal liver tissue. The positive rates of the expression of p53 were 56.5%(39/69),1.4%(1/69)in HCC,para-cancerous tissue respectively. The positive expression of P53 was not found in normal liver tissue. 2. The positive expression of HSP70 and p53 was correlation with the thrombus and degree of tumour (p<0.05), no correlation was found between HSP70,p53 positive expression and clinicopathologic characteristics such as sex, age, tumor size, tumor capsular and clinical stage. 3. Significant correlation were found among the expression of HSP70 and p53 in patients with HCC(χ~2=36.035, p=0.000). Conclusion: 1. HSP70 and P53 were both positive expression in patients with HCC, might be connected to the development of HCC. 2. The positive expression of HSP7 and p53 were associated with thrombus and degree of tumour of HCC, but significant correlation were not found in the clinicopathologic characteristics such as sex, age, tumor size, tumor capsular and clinical stage. 3. Significant positive correlation were found among the expression of HSP70 and P53 in patients with HCC,which may be indicate synergistic effect to the development of HCC. |
