Clinical Study On Angina Pectoris Of CHD Treated With Guanxintongmai Capsule

Objective:To observe the influence of Guanxintongmai(GXTM) capsule on interleukin (IL-6) and tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-a)of patients who suffered angina pectoris of the disease of coronary heart disease (CHD) and make clear the effect angina pectoris of CHD treated with GXTM capsule in order to explore the probably mechanisms of GXTM capsule's curing angina pectoris of CHD, and provide the scientific basis for clinical application.Methods:60 cases of patients with angina pectoris of CHD were divided into two groups at random:the treatment group was given GXTM capsule, the control group was given Tongxinluo capsule. Two groups were treated 4 weeks. We were to compare the effect between the two groups at the end of treatment and examine patients's electrocardiogram IL-6 and TNF-αresults, before and after treatment, in which IL-6 and TNF-αwere detected by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay.Results:The number of cases which were effective and ineffective in treatment group was respectively 26 and 2, with the total effective rate 92.9%, and the number of effective cases in control group was 28, with the total effective rate 93.3%. There was no significant difference (P>0.05) between the two groups in the aspect of clinical effect; the effective and ineffective ECG in treatment group was respectively 24 and 4 cases with the total effective rate 85.7%; the corresponding cases in the control group were 27 and 3, with the total effective rate 90.0%, whichi indicated there was no significant difference (P>0.05)between the two groups; The IL-6 level in treatment group dropped from(32.64±5.78)pg/mL to (20.56±6.84) pg/mL after the treatment, which was significantly different(P<0.01)compared with no treatment. TNF-αlevel dropped from(65.34±7.56)pg/mL to(42.15±6.57)pg/mL wchich was also significantly different(P<0.01)compared with no treatment; IL-6 level in control group dropped from(34.57±4.65)pg/mL to(21.63±3.58)pg/mL, which was significantly different(P<0.01)compared with no treatment, TNF-αlevel dropped from (63.25±6.84)pg/mL to (38.74±5.56)pg/mL, which was significantly different (P<0.01) compared with pre-treatment. There was no significant difference (P>0.05)between two kinds of cytokines of the two groups.Conclusion:Guanxintongmai capsule was quite effective in the treatment of angina pectoris of CHD, and its mechanism may be achieved through the anti-inflammatory response, but the exact mechanism had not yet been completely clarified.
