The Clinical Study Of Treating Damp-heat And Blood Stagsis Syndrome In Sequelae Of Pelvic Inflammatory Disease With Lian Bai Decoction

Objective:To conduct clinical study of Lian Bai Decoction for the treatment of Damp—heat and Blood Stagsis Syndrome in Sequelae of Pelvic Inflammatory Disease, and to quantitatively record the symptoms and signs according to certain criteria, and evaluate the efficacy.To investigate the possible mechanism of it.Methods:On clinic research,36 patients according with the diagnostic standards which were classified to Sequelae of Pelvic Inflammatory on Damp—heat and BloodStasis Syndrome were randomly divided into two groups:The treatment group was treated with Lian Bai Decoction contained 20 cases, the control group was treated with Gynecology Thousand Gold Capsule composed of 16 cases. There was no significant difference between the two groups in age, course,severity extent before treatment(P>0.05). Symptoms and signs were recorded at the beginning and the end of the study, then the efficacy of Lian Bai Decoction can be analysed.Results:As for total clinical efficacy, the treatment group was significantly superior to the control group,the former efficacy rate was 95%,the later was 87.5%. Respectively, the total effective rate of improving integrated syndrome was 95% and 75%, and the region sign was 95 % and 78.5%.There was significant difference in total effective rate between the two groups to improve the integratd syndrome and region sign, also in the difference values before and after treatment between two groups to improve the total clinical efficacy and integrated syndrome,while region physical sign is not.Conclusion:Lian Bai Decoction has the effect of clearing heat and toxins, activating blood,regulating Qi and relieving the pain. It can improve the clinical symptoms and physical signs.
