The Clinica Research Of Kidney Disinhibiting Mesangial Proliferative Glomerulonephritis

In accordance of etiology and identification of MsPGN, the supervisor summarized that the kidney disinhibiting could effectively cure mesangial proliferative glomerulonephritis. In this thesis,40 mesangial proliferative glomerulonephritis patients, diagnosed through the renal biopsy, received group therap, from which we summarize and analysis the outcome measures relating to the urine protein and urinary red blood cell count,etc., and further confirm that the Kidney Disinhibiting has the clinical effect for curing mesangial proliferative glomerulo-nephritis.Objeetive:Assess the clinical efficacy of the method of tonifying kidney, clearing damp-heat and activating blood for treatment of primary mesangial proliferative glomerulonephritis.Method:We selected 42 patients form the affiliated hospital of Nanjing University of Traditional Medicine, who had intact information and stayed in the urology department from October 2008 to February 2010. Having confirmed to be the mesangial proliferative glomerulonephritis with the western diagnosis, the patients were randomly divided into treatment group and control group. The treatment group was treated with invigorating kidney decoction of Chinese medicine and Chinese patent medicine(flower slices and TPT), while the control group was only given flower slices and tripterygium wilfordii polycoride tablet (雷公藤多苷片, TPT). The two groups were given with the same basic treatment condition, flower slice 4/time,3/d,andTPT 2/time, d/day. After two-month's treatment, we respectively observed the changes of the two sets between before and after therapy in renal function, qualitative urine protein,24-hour urine protein, urine occult blood, urine red blood cell count and clinical symptoms, signs and symptom scores, and evaluated the clinical effect of kidney disinhibiting curing mesangial proliferative glomerulonephritisResults:The renal function of the treatment group has been improved and its urine protein level has visibly declined, while the control group had no significant improvement in renal function and urine protein level, thus there's significant difference between the treatment group and the control group; the urine protein level of both treatment group and control group has showed a trend of declining, so the comparison shows no significant difference between the two group. The urinary red blood cell count of both groups has declined. The qualitative change of urinary protein is consistent with UPRO, and the ERY has declined. Conclusion:With a better clinical efficacy, Kidney Disinhibiting could visibly reduce the Urinary protein and urinary red blood cell count, and improve the clinical symptoms.
