Intestinal bleeding is a common clinical gastrointestinal disease, severe intestinal bleeding can lead to acute anemia and hemorrhagic shock, or even endanger the patient's life. Before the treatment of intestinal bleeding, how to position the bleeding site accuratly is quite crucial, only if the bleeding site is accuratly positioned, could the follow-up treatment be effective. The intestinal structure is very complex physiologically, so there are various means to locate intestinal bleeding in clinical test, including mainly colonoscopy, radionuclide scans, angiography, capsule endoscopy. But all these methods have their own disadvantages which are insurmountable, especially can not carry out the detection of bleeding symptoms of the whole digestive tract, or the accurate positioning of the bleeding point. Therefore, the studying of the electronic system, which choud detect the bleeding symptom of the whole digestive tract and locate the bleeding point exactly, would play a tremendous role in promoting the clinical treatment of digestive diseases. In the light of this idea, this paper presented a new electronic capsule intestinal bleeding detection system, developed a bleeding detection sensor that determine the symptoms of intestinal bleeding based on the feature of blood color. The system performed as a noninvasive capsule that can be swallowed to identify the intestinal bleeding symptoms automatically. The system can be combined with the capsule magnetic positioning system to realize the accurate location of intestinal bleeding points, and preliminary experiments show that the capsule can identify the he mixed blood color information in simulated intestinal fluid. This specific research can be divided into the following aspects:1 The anatomical structure of human digestive tract, the basic physiological knowledge of anatomy and the technical difficulty of detecting gastrointestinal bleeding from the perspective of digestive tract's structure were described; the current clinical gastrointestinal bleeding symptoms detection methods were introduced, and the advantages and disadvantages of these detection methods were analyzed.2 A proposal of the electronic systems for detection of gastrointestinal bleeding was presented, and the difficulties and priorities that would be faced in the design were analyzed. 3 A blood color detection sensor specifically for the detection of gastrointestinal bleeding symptom were designed and produced.4 A test circuitry in vitro blood was designed and produced, using the blood color detection sensor; the system's experiments in vitro blood were carried out, of course, the experimental data were analyzed, and a method to determin the blood feature was developed through calculating and analyzing. In addition, both the chip controlling and data's transmitting as well as receiving among pic16f876A micro-controller, micrf113 wireless transmitter chip and micrf213 wireless receiver chip were studied. There are excellent features of the designed gastrointestinal bleeding symptoms detection system based on the color detection sensors and microcontrollers pic16f876A, such as low power consumption, simple structure and reliable performance. It is expected to apply to treatment of human gastrointestinal diseases after volume optimization and system optimization in its entirety in the follow-up work.
