| Objective: To investigate clinical manifestation and treatment of children with supraventricular tachycardia(SVT),and raise level of diagnosis and treatment of this disease.Method: Analyzed retrospectively the clinical data of 68 children with supraventricular tachycardia, hospitalized in department of cardiology of Children's Hospital of Chongqing Medical University during Jan. 2005 to Dec. 2009, and comparing the success rate of recover to sinus rhythm after treatment, side effects and the time of recovery to SR after treatment between three medicines: dofetilide, ATP and cedilanid.Results:The main clinical manifestation in the infants and young children is heart failure , while palpitations mainly in older children. There are 75% of the patients with SVT interrupted after treated with dofetilide,6.25% of them had side effects after dofetilide used, the time of recovery to SR of group treated with dofetilide was 389.58±69.32s; There are 65% of patients with SVT were interrupted in group treated with ATP,55% of them had side effects, the time of recovery to SR in this group was 5.42±1.84s; There are 71.4% of patients with SVT were interrupted in group treated with cedilanid,14.3% of them had side effects, the time of recovery to SR in this group was 721.25±92.86s.Conclusions: It is common of un-special in clinical manifestation in children,especial in infants,with SVT, and ECG happen with SVT had valuable of diagnosis; It is key to select right medicine of anti-arrhythmia for successfully recovery SR.
