| Objective: To observer and evaluate chitosan, polyactic acid glue (PLA-G) and sofast in preventing epidural adhesion after laminectomy.Methods:72 adult male SD rats were divided randomly into four groups: Group chitosan (Group A), Group polyactic acid glue (Group B), Group sofast (Group C),Group saline solution (groupD) All the rats were established as the experimental models undergoing L1 laminectomy with 0.4cm×1.0cm dura mater exposed. At the same time to put chitosan, polyactic acid glue,sofast and saline solution in each group. All laminectomy were treated with normal feeding. At the 4 th , 8 th and 12 th weeks after laminectomy killing the rats, each group has drawed out 6 by random and taken the spinal which has been operated to obtain gross observation, histological examinations, detecting the content of epidural adhesion and electron microscope observation after 12 th week . Results: At the 4th week, the gross observation, histological examinations and content of epidural adhesion in saline solution were marked weaker than chitosan, polyactic acid glue and sofast, there is undistinct among chitosan, polyactic acid glue and sofast. At the 8th week, the gross observation, histological examinations and content of epidural adhesion in polyactic acid glue were marked exceller than chitosan, sofast and saline solution, chitosan and sofast were marked exceller than saline solution , chitosan was better than sofast . At the 12 th week , the gross observation, histological examinations and content of epidural adhesion in polyactic acid glue were marked evidently exceller than chitosan , sofast and saline solution , chitosan and sofast were marked exceller than saline solution, chitosan was marked exceller than sofast. At the 12 th week, electron microscope observation, the content of fibrecell in saline solution is plentiful, the function of compose collagen is entirety, the content of fibrecell in chitosan is less than the sofast, the function of compose collagen is lower, the content of fibrecell in polyactic acid glue is the least, the function of compose collagen is lowest. Conclusions: Chitosan, polyactic acid glue and sofast have evident restrain function of the epidural after laminectomy. Polyactic acid glue has evidently restrain function of the epidural after laminectomy than chitosan and sofast. |
