Objective: To investigate clinical application value of gasless laparoscopy in the treatment of benign ovarian tumors. Methods: Operation time, intraoperative blood loss, anus exhaust time and postoperative pain were compared between 31 cases with benign ovarian tumors undergone gasless laparoscopy and 26 cases undergone conventional laparoscopy from Jan. 2008 to Sep. 2009 in the second hospital of HeBei Medical University. Results: There were no significant differences in operation time, intraoperative blood loss, anus exhaust time, post operative pain (P >0.05). Conclusions: It's feasible to use gasless laparoscopy to treat benign ovarian tumors which is safe and effective, and is suitable for large leiomyom in Gynecology Clinic tumorectomy.
