Development And Assessment Of The Cyclomastopathy Scale Of Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCMD-Scale)

Purpose:This study based on Menstrual Cycle of Traditional Chinese Medicine,under the guidance of the theory in evidence-based medicine theoretical system,looking for evidence of disease of mammary gland hyperplasia,the measuring scale was a instrument to establish the evaluation of curative effect compliance with law and characteristics of traditional Chinese medicine,exploring the establishment of Chinese medicine evaluation of curative effect system. At the present stage,there was short of the evaluation of curative effect. PRO was a direct reported outeomes from patients (i.e., no doctors or any other person give an explanation for patient response) of the health status of all aspects.The data measured by PRO provided evidence of the treatment effect.Method:According to the theory of TCM, refer to the process of the developing principle of the PRO scale, combined with Chinese culture characteristics and the ancient Chinese medical theory for Cyclomastopathy, set up the theoretical model, On the basis of the theoretical model, literature review, discussed the item pool of TCM therapy for mammary gland hyperplasia, combined and splitted the item contents from the item pool,form the initial scale,after the pilot survey and further modify,then forming a pre-questionaire scale. The pre-questionaire was used in the field investigation.After using kinds of statistical methods,the item pool was composed of a formal scale.Then the formal scale was tested its reliability,validity and responsibility.Result:Select 301 patients with a clinical investigation,and tested the formal scale.General scale' s Cronbach'sαwas 0.9049, in the field of physiological, psychology, independence and the social arena,the Cronbach a were 0.7238,0.8488,0.7771,0.6575. From the results of the reliability analysis,the PRO scale had more reliable. The scale Split-half reliability coefficient was 0.7164. The recovery rate of the scale was the evidence of the acceptable. Altogether,301 papers were taken back,the accept rate was 92%.Conclusion:The scientific assessment had proved that the scale had good reliability,validity. It was easy to accept, and could be used as a curative effect of TCM. But compared to the limited scope of the investigation, mainly around on Menstrual Cycle of Traditional Chinese Medicine theroy, so could not determine whether the other theory would be able to adapt.
