Clinic study of the bone formation effective of the oral membrane in GBRObjectiveTo check the clinical effective of Heal-all oral biofilm on guided bone regeneration in dental implant.MethodsA total of 30 patients with bone defects in the implantation area were selected as subjects, who were divided into control group and experimental group at random. There are 16 patients in experimental group, while 14 in control group.(1) Preoperative examination and periodontal treatment for patients are completed before implant surgery.(2) Meansure the thickness of the alveolar bone and labial alveolar bone with the great degree of vernier caliper after the implant.(3) Bone defects around implants were repaired by guided bone regeneration technique with bone graft.(4) Measure the thickness of the labial alveolar bone after implanting the bone material.(5) Put the membrane on the bone defect area. Close the incision.(6) Anti-inflammation treatment for 5days. Return in 10days and remove the stitch.(7) The patients should return in 1 month and take X-ray picture to check the implants.(8) 3 months later, open the mucosa and measure the thickness of the labial alveolar bone.(9) Acoording to the formula"the effective of bone formation=the thickness of the new bone/the thickness of the graft×100%", calculate the the effective and average effective of the bone formation.(10) Complete implant restoration.(11) The patients should return to take the x-ray picture every 6 months.(12) To reduce the systematic error, all the data is measured by the same doctor.Results(1) The clinic result:The soft tissues heal well and the bone formations are well. None of the implants drop off and all of them perform occlusion function well during the follow-up period of 6-24 months after restoration. The X-ray pictures show normal.(2) The measure result: The thickness of graft in expermental group is 2.49mm±0.39, thickness of bone formation is 2.29mm±0.38, the effective of bone formation is92.13%±1.74%, while the results of control group are 2.58mm±0.38,2.36mm±0.36,91.64%±1.03%. The T-test shows that the two groups didn't have significant difference.Conclusions(1) Heal-all oral membrane could improve the new bone formation and reaches the purpose of safe and none immue reaction. It also has the advantage of easily storage and long period of validity.(2) Heal-all oral membrane didn't have significant difference on physical signs, lab tests and wound healing. It has the same effective bone formation to the control group. As an alternative option of BME-10X medical collagen membrane, Heal-all oral membrane could be used in GBR technique to repair the bone defects clinically.
