Objective:To investigate the correlation between lung cancer perfusion parameters and tumor micro-vessel density (MVD) and vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF).Materials and methods:1.Between January 2010 and March 2010, 25consecutive Patients with definite masses who were detected by Chest-ray or plain CT scanning were chosen to Perform 64-slice Spiral CT perfusion scanning. None of the patients had been treated with anticancer drugs before CT perfusion scanning and surgery. All the patients received the CT perfusion scanning with one to two week before surgery. And all lesions were confirmed by pathologic examination after surgical resection。The clinical document is integrated.2.All patients first underwent unenhanced CT scanning with SIMENSE Sensation 64 CT scanner. A conventional thoracic CT scan was obtained as a routine to locate the lung lesion-ns.Dynamic scans were performed at the location of the lesions with 50ml nonionic contrast administration (300mgl/ml) at the speed of 6ml/s.Data postprocessing was performed on Siemens workstation using lung cancer analyzing software in the package of Body Perfusion.Perfusion measurements were calculated for each acquisition time. Then the time-density curves and perfusion parameters。3.All lung cancer patients in test group received operation to ectomise the tumor and we got everyone's tissue of lung cancer. Tissue samples were examined with an immuno-histochemical stain for the expression of the VEGF and MVD.The MVD and VEGF were captured。4.Then we did following comparisons and analysis:1 To compare of CT perfusion parameters between the lung cancer patients with different greatest dimension, histological types,differentiated.2 the correlation between CT perfusion parameters and MVD,VEGF of lung cancer. Spearman analysis was used to do correlative research.P<0.05 was considered to be statistically significant. All results were caculated in a statistic software(SPSS 17.0).Results:After statistic analyzing the data of perfusion parameters and immunohistochemical result,we came to following conclusions:1..In groups of gender, location, size and stage of lung cancer, the CT perfusion parameters were not statistically different statistical results (P<0.05).In different pathological types group of lung cancer of CT perfusion parameters of 22 patients, the BV of small cell carcinoma is higher than squamous cell carcinoma and adenocarcinoma and the TTP of squamous cell carcinoma and adenocarcinoma are higher than small cell carcinoma, the difference was intended (P<0.05).But squamous cell carcinoma and adenocarcinoma have no significant difference. In different degrees of lung cancer patients of CT perfusion parameters, the BF and BV of poorly differentiated and undifferentiated lung cancer group are higher than the well differentiated and the moderately differentiated lung cancer (all P<0.05).In group of benign and malignant tumors, the BF and BV of malignant tumors are higher than benign tumors.the differences are statistically significant (P<0.05).2.MVD and VEGF have positive correlation with BF and BV MVD and VEGF have negative correlation with TTP.Conclusion:1.CT perfusion imaging of perfusion have no connection with lung cancer by sex, diameter, location, and stage; But have some connection with pathological types of lung cancer, different differentiated and the malignant and nonmalignant tumors groups to a certain extent.2.VEGF and MVD both have positive correlation with BF and BV;have negative correlation with TTP;and have no correlation with PS.
