Objection Comparing the case of air intake and time of air out and the effect of measuring central venous pressure(CVP) between a new kind of Disposable Infusion Set and the traditional disposable Infusion Set,so as to invent and boost the application of a new Disposable Infusion Set with the functions of preventing air intake and measuring CVP.Method Since May 2008 to December 2008 the hospital treated 120 cases surgery patients in surgery center were randomly divided into two groups,the experimental group which was used new Disposable Infusion Set and the control group which was used traditional disposable Infusion Set. Out of 60 cases of the experimental group,25 cases were male,35 cases were female,mean age was 37±15.91years'old,29 cases were peformed cholecystectomy,12 cases were peformed craniocerebral operations,11 cases were peformed renal transplantation,8 cases were peformed cardiopulmonary bypass operations. In the control group,31 cases were male,29 cases were female,mean age was 40.75±14.48 years'old,31 cases were peformed cholecystectomy,11 cases were peformed craniocerebral operations,11 cases were peformed renal transplantation,7 cases were peformed cardiopulmonary bypass operations. Sixty of the Patients' CVP were measured by new Disposable Infusion Set,atnd each patient was used electrocardiogram monitor to monitor the CVP, compared the data. The cases of air intake and the time of air out between the length of the 30 centimeters beneath the distal Murphy's tube were compared in the two groups during the operation.Result1. There was significant different in the rate of air intake between the experimental group and the control group (x2= 15.36, P<0.05).2. There was significant different in the time of air out with the length of the 30 centimeters beneath the distal Murphy's tube between the experimental group and the control group (H=15.36, P<0.05).3.There were no significant differences between the results of CVP measured by the new Disposable Infusion Set and those measured by electrocardiogram monitor (t=0.897, P>0.05).Conclusion New Disposable Infusion Set has some new special functions that could prevent air intake which simplify the infusion procedure monitor and measurerent of CVP than the traditional disposable Infusion Set. It can enhance the efficiency of nursing work, strengthen the security of infusion,and provided a kind of simple,effective,ecomomical,practical setting to observe the patient s'CVP. It was worthy of being popularized further.
