The elements in DA are bromocriptin, abergoline, pergolide, quinagolide and etc, which are all ergot alkaloids and its derivation. The functions of DA include:inhibit the synthesis of prolactin(PRL), reduce the pituitary adenoma cell volume, peripheral vessels fibrosis and localized area of cell death, thus decrease the tumor volume. Bromocriptin can normalize 80 percent to 90 percent microadenoma and 70 percent macroadenoma patient's PRL. However, it has been proved that it was safe to the gestation, so it is popularized among the young people who are in hope of pregnancy.Insulin-like Growth Factor-â… (IGF-â… ) is made up of 70 amino acid residues with endocrine, autocrine and paracrine properties of single-chain polypeptide, the IGF-â… is mainly released by human liver cells. Diaz Torga G study found the mice that dopamine D2 receptor gene is knockoutsd,which PRL is increased, and IGF-I and IGFBP-3 is decreased,so the secretion of IGF-â… reduction may be due to dopamine D2 decrease in the number of receptors.ObjectivesThis study exam IGF-â… blood serum level of the patients who are suffered prolactinoma whether are sensitive or not with bromocriptin. According to the level of the prolactinoma suffers, it predicts that they are sensitive to bromocriptin. It also probes into IGF-1 curative effect and the possibility of prediction as monitoring prolactinoma, which was after bromocriptin treatment.Methods Choose 40 suffers who have prolactinoma,20 people are in sensitive group after taking bromocriptin,20 people are in not sensitive group, while the empty control group is also 20 people. Using ELISA measures the content of suffers' blood serum. All the data will use SPSS 16.0 statistic software to deal with.Results1. The blood serum in prolactinoma suffers'from bromocriptin sensitive group are obviously higher than the bromocriptin insensitive group. Both indicated statistic meaning (P<0.05);2. The blood serum in prolactinoma suffers'from bromocriptin control group are obviously higher than the bromocriptin insensitive group. Both indicated statistic meaning(P<0.05);3. The blood serum in prolactinoma suffers'from bromocriptin control group are similar with the sensitive group. Both indicated statistic meaning (P>0.05);4. The blood serum content of IGF-I in prolactinoma suffers have nothing to do with gender and age.Conclusions1,The IGF-I level in blood serum can predict the curative effect of the prolactinoma suffers after taking bromocriptin.2,The blood serum content of IGF-I in prolactinoma suffers have nothing to do with gender and age.
