Objective:To explore the effect of aerobic exercise combined with dietary control on the serum resistin concentration in type 2 diabetic rats and analyze the changes in other relevant indicators.Method:8 rats were randomly selected rats as normal control group(Control,C)from 62 6- week-old male SD rats, fed a standard normal diet. The remaining 54 SD rats which were feed high-fat and carbohydrate diet were injected low-dose streptozotocin though abdominal cavity to establish animal models of type 2 diabetes. And then the type 2 diabetes rats were randomly divided into 4 groups:DM control group(n=9),DM+ aerobic exercise training group(DME,n=10),DM+ Diet control group(DMD,n=10),DM+ aerobic exercise training + Diet control group(DMED,n=10). The DM group's rats continued to feed high-fat and high-carbohydrate diet and did not exercise training;Exercise were used 60 minutes'unloaded swimming for 13 weeks,6 times a week; The dietary control used the same amount of the standard diet in the DM group. 13 weeks later,FPG,FINS,TG,TC,FFA,Resistin content were examined in each group of rats. Results:â‘ A fter 13 weeks of the establishment of type 2 diabetes model, compared with C group, the FPG contents increased significantly in DM group(P<0.01),the FINS contents decreased significantly;Through the double factor variance analysis, aerobic exercise could lower FPG levels in diabetic rats(P<0.05),FINS levels in diabetic rats further increased, but no significant interaction(P>0.05),and the effect of dietary control on FPG levels in diabetic rats did not significantly(P>0.05),but can significantly increase the FINS level of diabetic rats(P<0.05);Exercise combined with dietary control did not display an obvious interaction on lowering FPG and FINS level in diabetic tats(P>0.05).â‘¡After 13 weeks of the establishment of type 2 diabetes model, compared with C group, the serum resistin concentrations in diabetic rats significantly increased(P<0.01). Through the double factor variance analysis,13 weeks of moderate-intensity swimming training could decrease serum resistin concentrations in diabetic rats significantly. Dietary control on diabetes could lower serum resistin concentration, but there was no significant difference(P>0.05),while aerobic exercise combined with dietary control could further reduce the serum resistin concentration in diabetic rats, but there was no significant interaction(P>0.05).â‘¢After 13 weeks of the establishment of type 2 diabetes model, compared with C group, serum TC and TG were significantly higher(P<0.01)in DM group,FFA concentration was increased, but no significant difference(P>0.05). By two-factor analysis of variance, aerobic exercise or diet control could significantly reduce TC concentrations in diabetic rats(P<0.05),and aerobic exercise combined dietary control had a significant interaction for reducing TC concentration in diabetic rats ( P<0.05 ) . Dietary control can significantly reduce TG concentration in diabetic rats(P<0.01),aerobic exercise does not make the TG content in diabetic rats significantly reduced, and aerobic exercise combined dietary control could further reduce TG content in diabetic rats, but no significant interaction(P>0.05). Aerobic exercise or dietary control could significantly reduce the FFA concentration in diabetic rats(P<0.01),aerobic exercise combined with dietary control could reduce the serum FFA concentration in diabetic rats, but there was no significant interaction(P>0.05).Conclusion:â‘ Diabetes model in this study is successful. In the treatment of diabetes, relying on dietary control simply could not effectively reduce the FPG. And aerobic exercise training had a very significant role to control the FPG in diabetic rats,on the base of the dietary control, aerobic exercise training was more effective to reduce the fasting plasma glucose levels in diabetic rats.â‘¡The occurrence of type 2 diabetes might be closely related to the secretion of resistin. Aerobic exercise could significantly inhibit the resistin secretion in type 2 diabetic rats, dietary control on reducing serum resistin secretion in type 2 diabetic rats had little effect. Aerobic exercise combined with dietary control for reducing resistin secretion in type 2 diabetic rats was no significant interaction.â‘¢Resistin secretion in 2 diabetic rats might be closely related to blood glucose and lipid metabolic disorders, aerobic exercise, dietary control and aerobic exercise combined with dietary control might improve blood glucose and lipid metabolism in type 2 diabetic rats by influencing the secretion of resistin, but the exact relationship between them needed further research.
