| Objective To assess the IGF-2 in the different degree myopia comparing with the normal,used as control,in order to study the relation between myopia and IGF-2Methods ELISA were used to measure the levels of IGF-2 in serum between different degree myopia as low myopia 20|/mediums myopia 20and high myopia 18,normal 20 as control, then the data we got was analyzed by statistically method.Results There was a significant difference between different cases P＜0.05 except the normal and the low myopia. Serum IGF-2 would higher and higher as eye axis became longer and myopia happened deeper.Conclusion The abnormal levels of IGF-2 may be a positive factor in the pathogenesis of myopia.
