Objective:In order to investigate the relationship between Helicobacter py lori (Hp) infection and CCL20 and NF-kappa B expression in gastric carcinoma, and to study the possible mechanism of Hp in gastric carcinogenesis and overexpression of CCL20, and find the valuable experimental and theoretical proof for the development, prevention and treatment of gastric cance.Methods:Im-munohistochemical staining (SP) was used to examine the expression of CCL20,NF-κB in 60 cases of gastric carcinoma and 35 cases of normal gastric mucosa. Both rapid urease and pathological testwere used to examine Hp infection.Results:1 The positive infection rates of Hp in normal tissue, the neighboring tissue,GC Were23.3%,48%,44%,respectively.2 Of all the patients in gastic in musoca lesion.the Hp+ group had a significantly higher of the positive expression rates of CCL20 and NF-κB than that in the Hp-group (P<0.01).Comparing the Hp+ group with the Hp-group, the former had a higher positive expression rate of CCL20 in normal gastric mucosa and GC than the latter (P<0.05), and had a higher positive expression rate of NF-κB in normal gastric mucosa and the neighboring tissue than the latter.3 The positive expression of CCL20 in normal gastric mucosa, the neighboring tissue, GC were 136.952±6.532,113.597±8.054,92.415±6.399 respectively. The positive expression of NF-κB in normal gastric mucosa, the neighboring tissue were 141.174±6.175,121.327±5.348,95.987±6.211respectively.Both of them in the neighboring tissue and GC were significantly higher than that in normal gastric mucosa (P<0.05), there was no significantly difference in positive infections of CCL20 between the neighboring tissue and GC (P>0.05).4 Of all the patients the expression intensity of CCL20 and NF-κB had notable positive correlation (r=0.842, P<0.01).Conclusions:The infection of Hp plays an important role in the development of gastic cancer. Overexpression of CCL20 and NF-κB in patients with GC or precancerous lesions. The infection of Hp can promote the expression rates of CCL20 and NF-κB in GC.The infection of HP,the promotion of expression of CCL20 and NF-κB may all play a role in the development/promotion of GC.Therefore, completely curing the Hp infection and using NF-κB inhibitor may be a effective method to prevent the development/promotion of GC.
