Objective To investigate the relationship between the role of serum AT1-AA and preeclampsia. Methods 141 pregnancy women with preeclampsia in Tangshan Kailuan hospital,Tangshan maternal and child health hospital and Zhangbei county hospital from April 2008 to September 2009 were enrolled in the case group, the control group included 114 normal pregnant women during the same period . Serum levels of AT1-AA were determined by ELISA and clinical datas were compared between case and control groups. In the mean time, logistic regression was used to analyze the risk factors of preeclampsia.Results:1. The serum level of AT1-AA and patients age, high blood pressure family history, TG and FBG of preeclampsia were significantly higher than that in control women ,The HDL,family income and educational level were lower in preeclampsia group compared with control women .2. The serum level of AT1-AA of severe preeclampsia group were significantly higher than the mild preeclampsia group.3. Multiple logistic regression analysis showed that AT1-AA,TG,FBGwere higher risk factors associated with the preeclampsia, the odds ratio were 5.393,4.167,1.797 respectively. Conclusion :1.The elevated level of serum AT1-AA might increase the risk of preeclampsia.2. There was the direct relation between the AT1-AA and the severity of hypertention disorder complicating pregnancy.
