Objective:To investigate the relationship between the polymorphism of KIR genes and liver-kidney Yin deficiency type vulvar lichen sclerosus, and study the the roles of activate and inhibitory KIR genes in the immune adjustment mechanism of vulvar lichen sclerosus patients, and provide theoretical basis for the cause diagnosis and clinical treatment of this disease. Methods:The polymorphism of KIR genes were detected by PCR-SSP technique in 30 patients with Liver kidney yin insufficiency type Vulvar lichen sclerosus(The patients were diagnosed by pathologic examination) and 30 healthy persons as controls. According to gel electrophoresis results, carries on the analysis comparison of 14 KIR genetic gene frequency, genotype frequency in the patients and controls. Results:â‘ Successful augmentation out 14 KIR gene subtype by PCR-SSP technique;â‘¡The KIR2DL2 and KIR3DSl genotype are lower expression in liver-kidney Yin deficiency type Vulvar lichen sclerosus patients than control subjects (6.67% and 13.4% VS 53.3% and 50%). There was significant difference between the experimental groups and the control groups (P<0.01);â‘¢In addition to the framework genes,2DLl,2DL3,3DL1,2DL5,2DS2,2DS4 and 2DS5 genes also have higher expression, but compared with controls, there were not statistically significant (Pï¹¥0.05); 2DSl and 2DS3 gene expression is low, compared with controls also was not statistically significant (Pï¹¥0.05).Conclusion:There may be a correlation between KIR gene polymorphism and liver-kidney Yin deficiency type vulvar lichen sclerosus, inhibitory KIR2DL2 and activate KIR3DSl genes are the correlation genes, and they may play an important role in the occurrence of this disease, but the specific mechanism needs to be further explored.
