Bloodletting Study In Canon

Bloodletting method is that using a tool to pierce some parts of the body,release a certain amount of blood,and then by adjusting the organs and meridians to treating disease.It is the oldest and the unique kind of acupuncture treatment in TCM. There are some scattered discussions in Canon,it contains a lot of theoretical content and rich clinical experiences.Through the bloodletting method as accurately as possible interpretation,based on traditional thinking,combing the literature and make a deep study,conclude the bloodletting in Canon into several parts: constructed principles of treatment,the treatment mechanism, adaptation diseases, bloodletting tools,operating points and the consequences of false thorn,formation a relatively complete bloodletting method system.Meanw hile,collecting the relevant cases in Chinese Traditional Medical Records,and combined them with bloodletting theory,in order to have a deep discuss on the bloodletting characteristics of Canon,then show its clinical value and enable it to guide clinical practice incurrent better.
