Purpose:Through the classification and comparison of the "Huang Di Nei Jing"(he-reinafter referred to as the "Neijing"), the acupoints name, meridian, indications and r-elated prescription, to establish a perfect databaseof the"dispersed" in the acupoint th-eory. To determine the exact records in neijing number of acupoints, basing on the d-eep understanding of acupoints name meaning implication on occurrence period, also with counting of high frequency points in "Neijing", to find out the common acupoin-ts. Throughapplying the statistics of acupuncture prescription analysis, and summarizi-ng the "period" for acupuncture and moxibustion acupoint, diarrea, to provide the the-oretical basis for guiding clinical treatment and experiment.Materials and methods: This study is based on the satellite plum version of "Huangdi Neijing Suwen","miraculous pivot", with two methods of hand retrieval and computer retrieval, in order to abstract, systemize and analyze acupoints in each chap-ter of “neijing”. Aiming to analyze the development of acupoint theory, this study wi-ll record and count the acupointsnames recorded in books, numbers, frequency of u-se, meridian, indicationsand acupuncture prescription.Results:This study will establish a “neijing “acupoint theory relateddatabase. The-re are specificly148precisely recorded names in“neijing”,with the statistics of ap-preance frequency of acupoints, it finds out that there are17respectively used acupo-int which are Fengfu, Zusanli, Qichong, Renying, Tianzhu, Shangguan, Jianyu, Shangj-uxu, Xiajuxu, Daying,Tiantu,Guanyuan,Futu,Weizhong,Wei yang, Yanglingquan, Taich-ong, among them the frequency of foot acupoints is higher than the hand acupoint.“neijing” catergorizes the forms of acupuncture point gourps, including five transportpoints, meridian acupoint, back Yu Xue, lower he point, Tianyou te16fivepoints, water and heat transport, root knot hole, specimens, as well as r ecords the distribution and attending functions of acupoints. In“neijing”,there are353acupuncture prescrip-tion among which there are211prescriptions of definitely chosen acupoints,92multi-acupoints prescriptions,119single-acupoints prescriptions, and142meridian prescript-ion. Flowing the principle of differential treatment, Nei Jing" acupoint prescriptions si-mply chooses the acupoints, frequently uses specific acupoits. With the fundamental of meridian theories and attending acupoints, referring to the needling methods,“neijing” matches and prescribes the acupoints.Conclusion:With the purpose of improving the guide of clinical treatments and ex-perimental studies, based on the acupoints theories in “huangdi neijing”, this study sy-stemizes, researches and concludes and summarizes thedevelopment pattern of acupoi-nt theories, as well as the principles of choise and match of acupoints in moxibustion treatment in the epoch of “neijing”.
