A Research For Dataset Standard Of Maternal Health Care And High-risk Management Of Health Records

Objective: This study aims to formulate the record form and the dataset standard of maternal health care and high-risk management of health records.Methods: We took a further analysis from the angle of operational status, the demands of health record and health information standards base on collecting a large number of materials of maternal health care and high-risk management. The record form of maternal health care and high-risk management of health records is formulated by using the methods of literature research, expert advising and demonstration. And the dataset standard is established according to the setting-methods of health information standard. Results: (1) Existing record forms were not able to meet the requirements of sharing information in the style, content, design concepts, design methods. (2)There exists a lot of operational connections in and between the works of maternal health care and high-risk management.(3) At present, only basic services are involved in the Health Record based on common rules followed by the whole country. (4) The purpose to build Health Record is informalization management and manual mode, and the key points of the job are to norm the contents of the recording forms, but not to format them. (5) There are differences in purpose and contents among Health Record, work notes of pregnant care, handbook for perinatal health care. Work notes record the most information from one single care service, and handbook records the least. (6) This study built the rules and designing points for making recording forms, dataset standard, and the methods to refine data elements. (7) Record forms contains 8 sheets, the dataset standard contains 215 data elements and 23 code tables.Conclusions: The dataset standard has been well set in the business content, according to expert argumentation, and it is useful and practical, which could meet the needs of business. This study built the basis for Health Record to collect and share the information of maternal health care and high risk management standardizationly.
