The Clinical Study Of The Combination Therapy Of Acupuncture With Warmed Needle And Governor Vessel Long Snake Moxibustion To Ankylosing Spondylitis

Objective: Observe the clinical effects of the use of the combination of acupuncture with warmed needle and governor vessel long snake moxibustion in the treatment of ankylosing spondylitis(AS),to seek an ideal acupuncture cure on the treatment of the disease.Methods: The study uses the combination therapy of acupuncture with warmed needle and governor vessel long snake moxibustion to cure 30 cases of ankylosing spondylitis patients who are in line with the inclusion criteria, observes contrast with another 30 cases of ankylosing spondylitis patients according with the same standard who use the nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (Ibuprofen Sustained Release Tablets ), and carries on statistics processing to the observe results.Through the variance analysis and comparison of the cardinal symptom, signed therapeutic effect index and accessory examination index of both groups, the study observe the efficacy and safety of the therapy.Results: Clinical manifest control rates(recent control and apparent rate)is 76.7% and 43.3% in treatment group and control group respectively,the treatment group is obviously better than the control group ( p < 0.01).the general effective rate is 93.3% in the treatment group,while in the control group it is 76.7% ,and there is statistical different between them( p < 0.05).The effects of the treatment group excel in that of the control group in the respects which are the improvement of the clinical symptoms, signed index and accessory examination index and the prevention of the bonedestruction( p < 0.05 or p < 0.01). Conclusion:The combination therapy of acupuncture with warmed needle and governor vessel long snake moxibustion is significantly and persistently effective, safe and reliable, and it has superior utility value.
