Objective:Many of the systemic non-thyroid disease, trauma, surgery can cause abnormal thyroid hormone levels the body, known as the normal thyroid sick syndrome (ESS). ESS, the mechanism is not clear, the role of cytokines in which has attracted many scholars. We studied critically ill patients with thyroid hormone levels, and to explore critically ill patients in the ESS in the pathogenesis of law. In this study, APACHE 11 score in critically ill patients with thyroid hormone combination of the two critically ill patients in determining the severity of relevance, and understanding of critically ill patients changes of thyroid hormones and clinical significance.Methods:1 ICU stay of critically ill patients on the APACHEâ…¡scoring system according to score, by rating the results of the patients were divided into mild (non-critical, score< 16), moderate (severe, score 16-20), severe (very severe, score> 20) three groups. Replacement of the 60 cases of healthy adults as control group.2 Measured by radioimmunoassay technique (RIA) detection of very critical, critical level of serum thyroid hormone (TT3, FT3, TT4, FT4, TSH), and with non-critical patients and normal controls were compared. Observe the Thyroid hormone levels changes.3 Observed in patients with thyroid hormone levels and the severity of the correlationResults:1 The APACHEâ…¡score in critically ill patients with thyroid hormone results of group comparison results indicate that, TT3, FT3, FT4, TSH very critical group and the critical group decreased significantly, and non-critical group and the control group there was significant difference between the most critical group, critical group and non-critical group, compared with the control group decreased significantly compared, TT4 in the deterioration of patients before and after treatment was statistically significant.2 Thyroid hormone levels and the APACHEâ…¡score correlation analysis showed that:TT3, FT3, FT4, TSH levels were negatively correlated with APACHEII score. Correlation coefficient was -0.539,-0.662,-0.354,-0.826.3 The death group and survival group compared plasma thyroid hormone levels, the death group TT3, FT3, FT4, TSH were significantly lower than the survival group, the difference was significance.Conclusions:1 A critical illness associated with thyroid hormone changes.2 More severe disease in critically ill patients, thyroid honnone and TSH levels (except outside TT4) were significantly lower level of severity and relevance of thyroid hormone.3 Vesting worsening levels of TH and TSH were significantly lower than before the treatment group improved group outcomes.4 Prognosis improved in the level of thyroid hormone before and after treatment than before treatment. Worsening prognosis of thyroid hormone levels before and after treatment than before treatment.5 The level of serum thyroid honnones were negatively correlated APACHEâ…¡.6 Serum levels of thyroid honnone has a good prognosis significance.7 Thyroid sick syndrome is not currently its treatment.
