A Clinical Study On Jiangqi Hewei Tongfu Method To Promote Gastrointestinal And Immune Function For Postoperative Patients With Intestinal Tumor

Objective:To observe the clinical effect of acupuncture and tradition Chinese medicine in improving the gastrointestinal function and immune function for Postoperative Patients with intestinal tumor. Methods:One hundred and five patients were randomly and equally divided into 3 groups:control group,Chinese medicine group,and acuouncture group,35 cases each. The control group received only the postoperatively conventional therapy; The Chinese medicine group not only underwent conventional therapy but also treated with Simotang oral liquid,(threes times daily for 10 days). The acupuncture treatment group were treated with conventional therapy and acupuncture treatment(once a day for 10 days). Results:On day 10 aferment,There was significant difference to recover the function of gastrointestinal (P<0.05) in acupuncture group compared with traditional Chinese medicine group and control group, and acupuncture group was better than other groups(P<0.05,P<0.01); The score of digestive system symptoms were significantly different among three gruops (F=31.78,P<0.05), the acupuncture group compared with traditional Chinese medicine group and control group, there was significant difference(P<0.05,P<0.01), the traditional Chinese medicine group and control group was nosignificant difference (P>0.05); The curative effect among three groups there were significantly different(X2=3.281,P<0.05),the acupuncture group compared with traditional Chinese medicine group and control group both has significant difference(P<0.05,P<0.01),the control group and traditional Chinese medicine group has nosignificant difference(P>0.05).Compared with control group and traditional Chinese medicine group,on the 10th day postoperation the leukocyte,lymphocyte and neutrophil of acupuncture group has significant differenc (bothP<0.05),and the percentage distribution of lymphocyte and neeutrophil showed significant difference among three gruops(P<0.05); The T-lymphocyte subsets such as CD3+, CD4+,CD4+/CD8+ and NK cells has difference among three gruops (FcD3=31.25, FCD4=7.42, FCD4/CD8=5.64, NKχ2=10.39, all P<0.05); The score of KPS were significantly different among three gruops (P<0.05),the acupuncture group compared with traditional Chinese medicine group and control group,there was significant difference(P<0.05,P<0.01);There was correlation between the venting time and Inflammatory reaction (r=0.395,P<0.05), There was correlation between the venting time and immune function'recovery(r=-0.245,P<0.05). Conclusion:Jiangqi hewei tongfu Method to make up with the acupuncture and tradition Chinese medicine can not only promote the recovery of gastrointestinal function and immune function but also bidirectionally the number of regulate leukocyte, lymphocyte and neutrophil in postoperative intestinal tumor patients.thereby improving the score of digestive system symptoms and KPS.There was correlation between the gastrointestinal function'recovery with Inflammatory reaction and immune function'recovery.
