Objective:To explore correlation between effecacy of escitalopram and CYP2C19 genetic polymorphism in Uigur patients with deprssion to guide clinical indidualized treatment.Methods:36 cases CCMD-3 with depressie episodes patients were included in the uygur, first application experimental gene chip technology analysis its CYP2C19 genotype frequency distribution, then give escitalopram 10-20 mg/d treatment, adopt (HAMD) assess drug clinical curative effect, with side effect s scale (TESS) check the patients to drug adverse reactions,compare eng different genotypes of differences between treatment;ResuIts:Xinjiang uygur people strong metabolic type frequency hom ozygous for 61.11%,miscellaneous zygote strong metabolic type, and the we ak 33.34% frequency of metabolic type frequency for 5.56%.Homozygous extensive metabolizers,Heterozygous extensive metabolizers and Poor meta boli zers of efficient respectively for eight (31.81% 7/22cases),75.00%(9/12 cases) and 100%(2/2 cases), the homozygous group and the other two groups compared with significant difference (P<0.05). Conclusion:Xinjiang uygur crowd CYP2C19 allele frequency distribute ion of the han people,far higher than with white similar.CYP2C19 gene poly mor phism and Amy company citalopram there exists a correlation between the dr ug.CYP2C19 gene polymorphism may and Amy company citalopram of adve rse drug reactions are linked.Patients with clinical CYP2C19 genotypes thro ugh testing the drug metabolism, judge patients, adjusting speed type, is impr ove the drug dosage and reduce adverse drug reactions in an effective way.
