Closed－eruption Surgical Technique Treatment With Impacted Maxillary Anterior Teeth

Therefore, for multi-Impacted teeth, once discovered, should be removed as soon as possible; and for another part of the majority of impacted teeth in the permanent teeth with normal morphology, the majority of current treatment methods to repair after removal of the main treatment, but the form of normal, so for the treatment of tooth preservation, access to the complete permanent dentition and the establishment of good cooperation between teeth and chewing function is extremely important, in recent years, there were many reports of orthodontic treatment means to improve the Impacted preservation rate of teeth.Objective To investigate the effect of the impacted front teeth therapeutic alliance by orthodontic.Methods According to the criteria,26 patients having impacted teeth had been selected.Until enough space had been provided through the orthodontic treatment,the patients accepted the flap-artificial eruption surgery .When the wounds had been recovered,the impacted teeth began to be drafted.Results 30 impacted front teeth all accepted flap-artificial eruption operation.Except one tooth failed as too close to the root of the adjacent tooth,the other teeth all obtained normal position.The periodontal examination shows:good gingival shapes,no proving bleeding,no periodontal pocket,good periodontal attachment,normal pulp vitality,no root adsorption and damage of the adjacent teeth had been seen,The average erupting time of the 29 impacted front teeth is 5.6 months,12 months is the longest,3 months is the shortest.Conclusion Closed-eruption surgical technique is a good treatment effect for the impacted front teeth .
