Objective: 1,Try to develop a multi - parametric objective evaluation protocol and investigate its correlation with perceptual analysis of continuous speech. 2,Compare the objective evaluation and perceptual analysis and to explore the correlation and consistency.Try to establish a mult-parametric objective evaluation protocal. 3,Explore the use of voice acoustic analysis in evalutingthe level of the disease and the operative effectto offer the guidefor clinical workers. Methods :Voice acoustic parameters of 240 normal people and 210 patients with vocal benign diseases were measured by kay Science for Windows , and compared with the normal voice. The objective parameters ,including fundamental frequency ( F0 ),Highest Fundamental Frequency ( Fhi),Lowest Fundamental Frequency(Flo),jitter,Jita, shimmer,Noise to Harmonic Ratio(NHR),Amplitude Perturbation Quotient(APQ),Contact Quotient(EGG-CQ),which were measured mainly on a sustained vowel / a:/ , were recorded on a software named Kay. According to the G component of the GRBAS , the voice was graded from 0 for normal to 3 for severe dysphonia.Result:Table 1 showed that vocal nodulesaccouted for the most in women,about50.67%,followed by polyps of vocal cordaccounting for 24.67%, no Reike's Edema,. Vocal polyp accounted for 37.20% in men for the most, followed by chronic laryngitis accounting for 27.91%, vocal nodules accounted for 16.28% less than women. Reike's Edema, in all cases were male. In all cases, the number of male with benign vocal cord leision more than women ; Table 2 showed that the Fo, Fhi, Flo had significantly differentbetween the D group of women and women with the A group, the Fo, Fhi, Flo had obvious difference between the C group of men and men with the A group, the other parameters have no obvious difference between the A group and other homosexual groups ( P> 0.05).Fo of men and women in each group gradually decreased, men between the ages of 51-60 increased slightly but the overall trend is downward; Table 3 showed that the Fo, Fhi, Flo, Jita, Jitt, Shim were significantly different between the men and thewomen( P<0.05),but the difference of APQ, NHR, EEG-CQ were no significant;Table 4 showed that addition of chronic laryngitis and vocal nodules the Fo, Fhi, Flo had no significant difference between the patients with vocal cord lesion and people with normal voice( P> 0.05),the other parameter values had obvious difference . In addition the Fo, Fhi, Flo the value had no significant differencecompared graduallybetween chronic laryngitis and vocal nodules, vocal polyps and vocal nodules ( P> 0.05),the other parameter values had obvious difference; Table 5 showsedthat chronic laryngitis and vocal nodules mainly with mild hoarseness ,vocal polyps and vocal cord cyst weremoderate and severe hoarseness, Reike's Edema were all severe hoarseness; Table 6 showed that the value of each parameter increased with the voice disorder increasing; Table 7 showed that the Jita, Jitt, Shim, NHR values have obvious difference between adjacent voice quality group( P<0.05);Table 8 showed that the Fo, Fhi, Flo, CQ increased gradully in 1-4 weeks afer operation, the Jita, Jitt, APQ,Shim decreased gradually and returned to normal generally after 4 weeks; Table 9 showed that the Jita, Jitt value had significant difference between preoperative and postoperative 1 week, the parameter values all had obvious difference between the group of preoperative and postoperative 2 weeks. In addition Fo, Flo, Shim had no significantly differencebetween the group of normal and postoperative 2 weeks, the other parameters all have significantly difference between the two groups. There had no obvious difference between the normal group and the group of postoperative 4 weeks( P>0.05) . Table 10 showed that all parameters and the total degree of hoarseness had a high degree of correlation (p <0.05) and the objective parameters were moderately correlated;Table 11 showedthat this objective assessment allowed 84 % concord with jury classification. Conclusion :â‘ Devolop a mult-parametric objective evaluation protocal of the normal adults.Accord the gender to analysis the voice.â‘¡The jitter, shimmer,NHR were the moresensitive parametersto judge the level of the disease.Voice acoustic analysis can evaluate the quality of the voice objectively and quantitatively.â‘¢The jitter, shimmer,NHR,CQ were the important parameters to evalute the operative effect of laryngeal polypectomy and follow-up postoperatively.â‘£The objective voice evaluation have correlation with the perceptual analysis, the objective voice evaluation is able to reflect the result of perceptual analysis.
