Objective To evaluate the effect of treatment early esophageal cancer and precancerous lesions of the patients were followed up after EMR.Methods 50 patients were treated with EMR in Department of Gastroenterology, Hospital of Fujian province in Jan.2007 to Dec.2009,the effect and complication was observed.Results All lesions were resected successful. There was 4(8%) cases bleeding which stopped successful by endoscopy during the procedure, none cases suffered from perforation. All the patients were follow up for 6 months to 3 years. 2 cases of squamous cell neoplasms II were discovered by pathology and had residual lesions and were cured by esophagectomy, 5 cases have relapsed and the residual rate is 8%.Conclusions The apllication of EMR is safe and effective in the treatment of Early esophageal cancer or Precancerous lesions.
