| Objective: This article is to investigate the relation between Xiaojianzhong Decoction (hereafter to be referred as XJZH) and deficiency cold of Spleen and Stomach. The Rat experiment model was made to observe the effects of XJZH on the content of MDA and motility of SOD in the Gastric Tissue and the content and ratio between cAMP and cGMP in plasma. Furthermore, this article is hoped to support the generalization and promotion of XJZH.Methods: 48 SD Lab Rats were randomly and equally divided into 6 groups, which were named as Normal, XJZH Small Dose, XJZH Middle Does, XJZH Large Does, Model and Sucralfate group. 4oC vinegar was used in the 5 of the 6 groups except for the Normal group to establish the Rat model with deficiency cold of Spleen and Stomach. Thenceforth, after 15 days of administration to the 5 groups, the indexes of T-SOD, MDA, cAMP and cGMP were detected by the method of Xanthine Oxidase, Thiobarbituric Acid (TBARS) and Euzymelinked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA). The general condition of the Rats such as the body weight and rectal temperature were supervised simultaneously during the course of the experiment.Results: After 15 days medication administration, the general condition of the XJZH groups and Sucralfate group improved noticeably. Compared with the Model group, the rats in group of XJZH Large Does gain in weight and the rectal temperature rise to higher level than the condition of Model group, (p<0.05); Compared with the Model group , The motility of SOD in gastric tissue of rats in XJZH Large Does is increased and the content of MDA is decreased, (p<0.01;p<0.05); Compared with the Model group, the content of cAMP in plasma is increased in the groups of XJZH Middle Does,XJZH Large Does and Sucralfate group, (p<0.05;p<0.01) and the A/G ratio is also raised , (p<0.01); Compared with the Model group, the cGMP content level in the groups of XJZH Large Does and Middle Does declined noticeably, (p<0.05).The results listed above satisfied the statistical significance.Conclusion: XJZH have a noticeable effect on improving the symptom of deficiency cold of Spleen and Stomach. XJZH increases the motility of SOD and decreases the content of MDA in gastric tissue, thus it could inhibit the course of lipid peroxidation and protect the gastric mucosa from damage; XJZH increases the content of cAMP in plasma and decreased the cGMP level, regulates the ratio of A/G, thus it could correct the disorder condition of cylic nucleotides expressed in deficiency cold of Spleen and Stomach. Conclusion could be made that the mechanism of XJZH's effect on deficiency cold of Spleen and Stomach probably is preventing the damage caused by the effect of lipid peroxidation and ameliorating the condition of cylic nucleotides disorder. |
