The existing research shows that microorganism in special ecological environment has close relations with special secondary metabolites. Looking for same or similar with host strains of the active ingredients through the endophytic fungi of medicinal plants diversity, screening and separating high activity, broad-spectrum and safety of antifungal substances from endophytes and expanding drug source by microorganism fermentation technology to produce endophytes of synergistic, atoxicity and heavy producing which has become one of the hot issues of medicinal plant researches nowadays.Lonicera confusa DC. belongs to the parts of plants of Lonicera in Caprifoliaceae which named as shanyinhua,dayinhua.tuyinhua in Chinese and described in all versions of China pharmacopoeia.The effects in heat-clearing, detoxicating, dispelling wind-heat are significant as Lonicera japonica.It used to treat more than 40 entities.Such as respiratory infection, bacterial infection, acute tonsillitis,hyperthermia, globus hysteriti(globus hysteritis), pedo-pneumo, parotitis.It as widely used in food,beverage,medicine.health products,daily chemical and other aspects, such as for toothpaste,tea bag. Lonicera confusa DC. as the research object can antisepticize and eliminate inflammation.To research the population structural feature and screening antibacterial activity strain of Lonicera confusa DC. have the vital significances in understanding endophyte biodiversity of original plants of the traditional Chinese medicine, giving full play to the resources superiority of Chinese herbal medicine and exploring offcinal endophytic fungi that is antisepticise and antitumor.The paper includes several parts:1. The review of domestic and foreignAfter reviewing lots of literature, authors summarized the general situation on germplasm resources of Lonicera confusa and research situation on medicinal endophyte. including the taxonomy, chemical constituent, pharmacodynamic action, active constitutent of medicinal endophyt, promoting the growth of medicinal plant, material selection and problems of endophyt study. 2. The preliminary studies on endophytes of Lonicera confusa DC.Studies on endophyte biodiversity of Lonicera confusa:We discover the endophyte of Lonicera confusa is species diversity by tests of separation, purification and identification to endophyte. We gain 145 endophytic fungi and 124 endophytic bacteria. The endophytic fungi which are different in different parts or seasons can be divided into 13 genera. But 2 endophytic fungi can not be identified.The endophytic bacteria can be divided into 78 Gram-positive bacteria,46 Gram-negative bacteria, or 37 bacilli,87 cocci.Antibacterial experiment in endophyte of Lonicera confusa:The situation of the endophyte inhibit pathogenic bacteria is different. We can see that 3 endophytic bacteria inhibit pseudomonas aeruginosa,3 endophytic bacteria inhibit staphylococcus aureus and 1 endophytic bacterium inhibit escherichia coli, are significant. At the same time, we discover 2 endophytic fungi antagonist staphylococcus aureus growth and 1 endophytic bacterium antagonist escherichia coli and staphylococcus aureus growth.The influence of endophytes of Lonicera confusa to the growth of in vitro culture: Studied the effects of the endophyte which have inhibition to in vitro culture of Lonicera confusa. Results show that they can't promote the growth of Lonicera confusa.Studies on the antibacterial activities of different parts from Lonicera confusa:We gain ethanol extracts from different parts (including root, stem, leaf, flower) of Lonicera confusa and find that allofthe 4 different thanol extracts have significant inhibition to escherichia coli. and to bacillus subtilis besides the thanol extracts from leaf. But neither of them have inhi(?)ition to pseudomonas aeruginosa nor staphylococcus aureus.
