Investigation Of Clinical Evatuation For Thumb Oppositional Function

Objective To analysis the evaluation method of thumb opposition,Use subjective and objective form to design and improvement the assessment of a new thumb opposition evaluation Method. So as to evaluate and compare different operational method and guide clinical work better.Methods Collect the datas of various mechanical and angle of thumb opposition from the first group 63 cases of research objects (Normal).Study the difference between left and right hands. Made clinical evaluation scale of thumb opposition through the data.under.Make three evaluation of thumb opposition examination, DASH's assessment and clinical evaluation of thumb opposition Scale (E scale) for the second group 19 cases of subjects (Clinical patients) before operation,1 month and 3 months after operation respectively.According to the evaluation of thumb opposition data to detect the viability of the clinical assessment scale.Results Use linear correlation and regression analysis to analyze clinical evaluation of thumb opposition and the DASH scale of measurement data before operation. Its R Square(R2) respectively is 0.830,0.812,0.880.1 month and 3 months after operation respectively.To find if there is relativity between E scale and The Swanson evaluation standard (assessment standards set A),GU evaluation of thumb opposition standards (assessment criteria set B),China-Japan Friendship Hospital, Jilin University, developed the evaluation criteria of Hand Surgery (assessment standards set C).The grades of excellent, good, fair and poor in A, C standard was quantized as 3,2,1,0, in the assessment.The grades of normal, mild, severe, heavy in B standard were measured into 3,2,1,0. Make analysis of them and E scale by means of orthogonal testand variance analysis. Its detects statistical significance (Fa= 0.2898 P=0.754, Fb=0.057 P=0.9454, Fb=72.468 P=0.0000).E grading scale is divided into several grades through the results of analysis of variance. make two samples rank sum test of the grades and B evaluation criteria before operation,1 month and 3 months after operation respectively. Theχ2 were 4.780,6.747, E evaluation standards and evaluation criteria B after 1 month and 3 months after operation no difference.Conclusion According to the findings of measurement and inspection, E scale and the measurement data DASH have good linear correlation before operation,1 month and 3 months after operation respectively. Evaluation Scale and the B and E standard orthogonal analysis of variance have interactions. Make grade division of E scale according to B standard and make two samples rank sum test of the grading data and the assessment data by standard B before operation,1 month and 3 months after operation respectively. The results show relavence of them by line×list ofχ2 test.Therefore, E scale for the assessment of thumb opposition and the grade division is feasible.
