[Objective] To investigate the correlation of a-adducin Gly460Trp and GABAB-R1 Phe658Phe gene polymorphism in the patients suffering from OSAHS accompan-ied by hypertension; To analyzes the relationship with the parameters such as gender, age, body mass index, blood pressure, the clinical stages et,al;opening up a new way for analysis the pathogenesis of OSAHS accompanied by hypertension from the angle of genes, and provide the reference for the research of the prevention of OSAHS accom-panyied by hypertension.[Methods] All the OSAHS patients were set according to the Obstructive Sleep Apnea Hyponea Syndrome(OSAHS) s guide made by 2009 China Medical Academy of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery Branch standards in the study. All subjects were sure to be OSAHS by undergoing overnight polysomnography (PSG).The diagn-oses of hypertension patients according to the hypertension diagnostic criteria of 2005 China guidelines of hypertension prevention.Grouped as follows:①12 Normal contr-ol group(9 Males,3 Females),Age is 20~60(39.5±8.5)years;②12 essential hypertensi-on (EH) patients(SBP≥140mmHg,and(or)DBP≥90mmHg),(7 Males,5 Females),Age is 20~60(47.9±11.0)years;③12 OSAHS patients without complications(AHI>30times /h)(11 Males,1 Female),Age is 20~60(38.8±6.2)years;④12 OSAHS accompanied by hypertension patients(AHI>30times/h,SBP≥140mmHg,and(or)DBP≥90mmHg)(10 M-ales,2 Females),Age is 20~60(42.3±9.4)years.All of the above selected objects are the Han nationality of Yunnan province, and mutual unrelated. Blood 2ml was obtain-ed from all experimental objects, after that, extracting DNA from the whole blood. Duplicate the target DNA segment by using polymerase chain reaction.Using the res- triction enzyme enzyme cut for determining purpose gene.Statistical methods:applic-ation of statistical package with SPSS 16.0 statistical analysis,Chisquare test or Krusk-al Wallis test was applied to compare genotypes and allele frequencies of four groups, measurement datas were statistically analyzed using one-way analysis of variance and applying q test between groups' comparison,P<0.05 determined statistical significance.[Results] (1)Comparison of general situation, Age and male/female gender consti-tute of four groups are matched (P=0.066,P=0.257).Comparison of BMI with statisti-cal differences (P=0.000),incomparison with①roup(22.08±2.98kg/m2),③group(28.9 6±4.70kg/m2,P=0.000)and④group(28.11±3.97kg/m2,P=0.001)had higher BMI;in com-pareison with②group(23.81±2.71kg/m2),③group(P=0.008)and④group(P=0.039)had higher BMI too.(2)a-adducin gene,Four groups all present an genotype Trp/Trp,with-out statistical differences.(3)GABAbR1 gene, there were no significant differentces am-ong the genotypes and allele frequencies of four groups(P=0.713,P=0.547).(4)GAB-ABR1 gene:Nor between both genders.(P=0.571,P=0.355).(5)In 24 OSAHS patients, the age of C/C,T/C and T/T gene has statistical differentces(P<0.05);As C alleles cop-y number is increasing, AH I and MAI also increasing in ordinal, but nor they have sig-nificant differences (P=0.763,P=0.347).[Conclusions]1. The study of the cases shows that BMI of theOSAHS patients was more higher than that of not suffering from OSAHS groups, thus, it is thoughe that obesity play an important role in the occu- rrence and development of OSAHS.2. There was irrelevance of a-adducin gene Gly460Trp polymorphism and GAB-AbR1 gene Phe658Phe polymorphism to the occurrence of EH and OSAHS accomp-anied by hypertension patients in Yunnan han people.3. The genotype and allele frequency distribution of GABABR1 gene Phe658Phe has nothing to do with sex.4. The age of C/C genotype is more than that of T/C and T/T genotype in OSA-HS patients,C alleles with the numeric of AHI and MAI have positive correlation tend-ency,thus C allele may be relevant with the occurrence of OSAHS and sleep related parameters.
