Objectives:To discuss the relationship between the patients with obstructive sleep apnea-hypopnea syndrome (OSAHS) and essential hypertension (EH). To investigate the correlation between serum salusins level, serum resistin level with sites 420C/G gene polymorphism and OSAHS associated hypertension. Methods:Epworth Sleepiness Scale score screening of patients with sleep disorders; Select OSAHS patients with EH in 50 cases, set to EH+OSAHS group; Choose simple EH patients hospitalized with the same period in 60 cases,35 patients with OSAHS,31 cases of healthy at the same time medical center check-up, were set to EH, OSAHS group and N group. Basic information on the four groups were compared.Detected routine biochemical> routine blood and other related indicators. ELISA method to detect the serum salusin-a and salusin-p and resistin levels; polymerase chain reaction-restriction fragment length polymorphism (PCR-RFLP) method for determining the group of patients resistin SNP-420C/G (rsl862513) genotypes. And by color ultrasonic diagnostic instrument (the United States PHILIP-IE33, L11-3,11 MHz) determination measures the carotid intima-media thickness (CIMT) in patients with OSAHS associated hypertension.Multivariate logistic regression analysis to evaluate the correlation between each variable and OSAHS associated hypertension.Results:1. Serum salusin-a level:N group> OSAHS group> EH group> EH+OSAHS group; There was no statistically significant difference except for OSAHS group and EH group(P>0,05), the remaining two comparative differences between groups were statistical significance (P< 0.05);2. Serum salusin-β level:N group> OSAHS group> EH group> EH+OSAHS group; There was no statistically significant difference except for OSAHS group and EH group、N group (P>0,05), the remaining two comparative differences between groups were statistical significance (P< 0.05);3. Serum resistin level:N Group OSAHS group<EH group<EH+OSAHS group; N group and OSAHS group、EH group、EH+OSAHS group differences were statistically significant (P<0.05); among other groups pairwise comparisons showed no significant difference (P> 0.05);4. Resistin gene SNP (rs1862513)-420 C/G genotype frequency distribution between EH+OSAHS group and N group was statistically significant (P< 0.05). G allele may be a risk factor for OSAHS associated hypertension;5. Carotid artery intima-media thickness (CIMT):OSAHS group no significant difference compared with the N group (P>0.05), the rest of the comparative differences between the two groups have statistical significance (P< 0.01).Conclusions:Low serum salusin-α level、salusin-β level maybe a risk factor for OSAHS complicated with hypertension; Resistin gene SNP-420C/G significantly associated with hypertension and OSAHS;G allele may be a risk factor for OSAHS complicated with hypertension.
