| (Hunan University of Traditional Chinese Medicine,Changsha,410007) Objective:To discuss the pharmacodynamic effect of Weiyanqing capsules on treating chronic gastritis and the acute oral toxicity.And this provides pharmacological evidence for clinical treatment. Method:The model of experimental chronic gastritis disease in rats were established by continuously taking large dose of sodium salicylate and oxgall. To study the pharmacological action of Weiyanqing in the treatment of chronic gastritis. Mice stomach were irrigated with the maximum volume drug in order to the reaction of acute toxicity. Result:Weiyanqing can stimulate the secretion of gastric juices, and increase the volume of total gastric acid, gastric acid free. Weiyanqing can increase pepsin activity with the model rat. Weiyanqing can decrease the volume of gastric mucous free. Pathology evidenced the epithelial cells of the stomach lining examined the degree of cell necrosis falling off was obviously lessened. Results in the acute toxicity test, the daily maximum tolerant dosage by intragastric administration was equal to 171 times of the clinical routine, with no marked toxic reaction. Conclusion:Weiyanqing can decrease chronic inflammation of gastric mucosa and protect the stomach mucosa. The acute toxicity test showed that Weiyanqing has low toxicity. All these provided pharmacological evidence for clinical treatment. |
