| Objective: This study is a part of"Study on Hospitaliztion Psychological Care Model of injured Caused by Disaster Events". Revise Posttraumatic Growth Inventory(PTGI) for patient with accidental trauma, by guidance of new theory and reference of advanced instrumental achievements. Then develop local norm in Shanghai. The aim of this study is to lead patient to cope accidental trauma with positive experience that should be payed attention to, and assist clinical medical staff to help patient to reach better state of body and mind.The result of this study can be used as judgement tool of posttraumatic growth levels, evaluation tool to predicte psychological trauma, and prognostic evaluation of intervention effect.Methods: To appraise the level of posttrauma growth, about 600 patients with accident trauma were asked to complete a Chinese posttraumatic growth inventory, translated and back translated form PTG(ITedeschi&Calhoun). SPSS17.0 was used to test the reliability and validity of the translated PTGI, analize the influence factor of posttrauma growth and develop Shanghai norm.Results:â‘ The revised C-PTGI has 20 items in five factors.The total Cronbach's alpha index was 0.874.The Cronbach's alpha index of five factors were from 0.611 to 0.796. The reliability and validity were good.â‘¡Results indicated age, marriage state, culture level and indjured causes were influence level of posttrauma growth.â‘¢The Shanghai norm of posttraumatic growth in patients with accident trauma was developed for clinical nursing psychology.Conclusion:â‘ PTGI assessment can guide patients with accident trauma positive psychology experience and help their physical and mental rehabilitation.â‘¡The nurse enhance the understanding of posttraumatic grow for clinical intervention according to individual differences such as injured age, marital status, educational level and injured causes to improve the posttraumatic growth of patients. |
