Objective: To investigate the Xinjiang Uygur and Han plasma levels of calcitonin gene-related peptide and cerebral infarction (CI) of the relationship. Methods: The ELISA method, the Xinjiang region of 126 cases of ischemic stroke patients and 108 patients with associated age, gender matched controls plasma calcitonin gene-related peptide (CGRP) levels. Cerebral infarction and one Uighur group (63 cases) and control group (48 cases), Han CI group (63cases) and control group (60cases) CGRP levels measured for comparison. Results:1, the level of CGRP in cerebral infarction group than the control group, the difference was statistically significant; which Uighurs and Han in plasma CGRP levels was no significant difference (P>0.05); 2, D, Han cerebral infarction, acute cerebral infarction group the level of CGRP Were lower than non-cerebral infarction group. (P<0.05), which Uighurs cerebral infarction, non-cerebral infarction group, the plasma CGRP level and no significant difference in Han (P>0.05); 3, D, Han CI group, the large area of infarction CGRP Average less than a small area of water infarction CGRP. (P<0.05); one large infarct Uighur, a small area of infarct group CGRP levels and no significant difference in Han (P>0.05); 4, D, Han cerebral infarction and severe cerebral infarction in plasma CGRP Levels were significantly lower than that in patients with mild to moderate cerebral infarction (P<0.05); which light in the Uygur and Han recombinant plasma CGRP levels was no significant difference (P> 0.05). Conclusion: The cerebral infarction group, the total level is lower than the control group CGRP, CGRP Uighurs and the Han case group was lower than the control group, but the Uighurs and Han in case group was no difference in overall levels of CGRP, suggesting that CGRP levels in plasma is closely related with cerebral infarction; CGRP in the pathogenesis of cerebral infarction, clinical testing can help determine the content of cerebral infarction and accurate assessment of the severity of the prognosis.
