| Objective:Through 2 kinds of noninvasive testing:x-ray computed tomography and serum tumor markers combined in liver cancer diagnosis,to develop diagnosis methods on liver cancer.Methods:100 case histories with primary liver cancer in our faculty were retrospectively reviewed, all of them are in accordance with the clinical manifestations. Through medical images,tumor markers and each confirmed diagnosis after laboratory indicators being tested,some of the cases were proved to be liver cancer with ages between 31and 76(average56.3)among them.Besides,50cases of benign liver cancer,including 21 Cirrhosis of liver,28 Chronic hepatitis, ages between 26 and 83(average 58.9). There are 58 people whose nodes<3cm,54 people's nodes in 3-5cm, and 38 people's nodes>5.0cm。All of the patients were put in testes of chemiluminescence(which is for checking levels of serum AFP,CA125,CA199,CEA)and CT scanning.Results:Positive rates of serum AFP,CA199,CA125,CEA of tumor markers,being tested in case unit were:57%,50%,41%,31%. Positive rates in CT scanning detection was 86%. The sensitivity and specificity will increase after the node increasing. The biggest date will appear when the node>5cm. Single detection sensitivities of the four tumor markers AFP,CA199,CA125,CEA were 78.3%,66.7%,56.3%,46.7%,while specificities 33.3%,17.6%.13.6%,8.7%.Inter combination between two.hree and four items of tumor markers will apparently increase sensitivities and specificities.Inter combination between four- item tumor markers was most effctive,the sensitivity and specificity were spectively improved to 92.9% and 80.0%.If combined the results of the four-item tumor markers and CT scanning,sensitivity and specificity will then respectively increase to 96.4% and 90.0%.Conclusion:Both CT scanning and Tumor markers are possesed of their own distinguishing features.With reasonably integrated utilizations and united detections, screening on high risk group of liver cancer and diagnosis on primary liver cancer can be improved.
