Epidemiological Investigation Of Prehospital Trauma Patients In First Affiliated Hospital Of Xinjiang Medical University

Objective:Analysis epidemiology features of pre-hospital trauma patients in our hospital, provide an objective basis for the trauma care. Methods:Collect the first aid medical records of 1480 trauma patients in our hospital from January 2006 to December 2010. Results:During this five-year period, the first-aid trauma patients that accepted by our hospital, the number increasing. The ratio of first-aid trauma patients in first-aid total number are increased year by year. In this 1480 trauma patients, the top three in the cause of injury is traffic injuries, accidental falls and violence injury. Proportions of the causes of injury is not identical among the different gender. The distribution of the causes of injury is not same in different occupations and different nation. The top three types of trauma were: limbs of damage and fracture, multiple trauma, head and neck injury. Frequent age of trauma is 21 to 30 years old,31 to 40 years old,41 to 50 years old. The distribution of the causes of injury is not same in different age. Frequent time of trauma is 10:00-12:00 and 16:00-18:00. Frequent month of trauma is May, June, July and August. Conclusion: Pre-hospital first aid of trauma patients should be the basis of classification of Diseases, age and frequent time of trauma, scientific and reasonable arrangement for first aid, training of professionals, So that patients get the fastest, the best pre-hospital care.
