Objective:To improve awareness of Churg-strauss syndrome (CSS), early diagnosis and treatment can greatly improve the prognosis.Methods:Analyze 2 cases of the CSS with severe abdominal pain and bloody stool as the first symptoms and review of the literature.Results:2 patients of CSS had peripheral blood eosinophils increased (EOS) and extravascular eosinophil infiltration, neuropathy, pulmonary infiltration, gastrointestinal involvement.Conclusion:Clinical manifestations of CSS are complex and diverse, early diagnosis is difficult, particularly in cases with severe abdominal pain and bloody stool as the first symptom,the disease progresses rapidly, while peripheral blood eosinophils increased,multi-system damage, neuropathy and pulmonary infiltration, we should be on high alert of CSS. Tissue biopsy pathological examination revealed infiltration of eosinophils and positive of ANCA can be used as an important basis for early diagnosis, early diagnosis, prompt treatment can greatly improve the prognosis. Improvement of clinical symptoms and decrease of eosinophils can be used to judge efficacy.
