Ulcerative colitis (UC) is one of the subtypes of inflammatory bowel disease,which has been considered to be an inflammatory disease limited to the colonic mucosa and submucosa,and its etiological factors and mechanism are still unclear yet.The typical clinical manifestations are abdominal pain and diarrhea. Fever,weight loss, anemia and hypoproteinemia will appeared in some severer patients.Otherwise, UC always Complicated with many extraintestinal manifestations which can involve organs and systems other than the gastrointestinal tract such as skin,eye,joints,hematological system,biliary tract.urinary system and nervous system.In this article,we report a case of ulcerative colitis with two rarely complications called nephrotic syndrome and moyamoya disease after reviewed the past literature.The aim of this article is to highlight the various extraintestinal manifestations in UC patients for clinician.
