Objective:To analysis the bone metabolism indicators of the patients suffered from Osteonecrosis of femoral head(ONFH) comprehensively, and discuss the mechanism of bone metabolism disorders preliminarily, via testing 24-hour urine excretion of calcium and phosphorus, serum parathyroid hormone (PTH),serum calcium, phosphorus, albumin, alkaline phosphatase (ALP),25 (OH)D3 concentration.Methods:30 cases of ONFH (experimental group) and 30 cases without ONFH (control group) were selected. The concentrations of PTH,25(OH)D3,serum calcium,phosphorus,albumin,ALP,24-hour urine excretion of calcium, phosphorus were checked in the inpatients and outpatients. Statistic analysis was done by SPSS 17.0 statistical package. Results:The concentrations of serum calcium, albumin and PTH were both higher than the control group slightly, but there were no statistical differences between two groups (P>0.05). The concentration of serum phosphate(Age≥20 years old)was lower than those of the control group, but the difference was not significant too(P>0.05). The concentrations of serum 25(OH)D3,24-hour urine excretion of calcium and phosphorus were all significantly lower than the control group (P<0.05). The level of ALP were significantly higher than the control group (P<0.05). The level of 25(OH)D3 was positively correlated to the 24-hour urine excretion of calcium (P<0.05), but the level of 25(OH)D3 was negatively correlated to the ALP concentration (Age≥20 years old) (P<0.05).Conclusions:The concentrations of 25(OH)D3,24-hour urine excretion of calcium and phosphorus of the patients with ONFH were lower than those of the control group, but the ALP concentration was higter than the control group, and the concentration of 25(OH)D3 was positively correlated to the 24-hour urine excretion of calcium, but the level of 25(OH)D3 was negatively correlated to the ALP concentration. These results suggest the possibility of bone metabolism abnormalities due to decreased 25(OH)D3 concentration 24-hour urine excretion of calcium and elevated ALP concentration as a background of ONFH.
