ObjectiveOn the basis of diagnostic criteria forⅢa\Ⅲb prostatitis in<2009 Urologic diseases treatment guidelines in China>,EPS test results are considered as the gold standard in the classification of III prostatitis. But in clinic,the EPS outcome of patients often find changing when they review. And this change will result in instability of uncertainty of its classification, thus affecting the process and effect of treatment in patients. This paper aims to study the changes in the probability of instability through wide-range investigation of clinical and scientific statistical methods. Further more,we try to explore other indicators in this type of prostatitis clinical diagnosis MethodsSelect the initial examination of prostate massage check and diagnosed III prostatitis patients from our hospital as samples from September to December in 2010. Expected to set an upper age limit as 55 years, for exclude the impact of benign prostatic hyperplasia of this study. After rule out the bladder or urethra calculus, urethral stricture disease, which can impact urinary function in patients. Diagnostic criteria based on guidelines, Exclude thus do not meet the diagnostic criteria of type III prostatitis for patients with EPS cultivate bacteria, To distinguish the WBC<10 HP in EPS asⅢa prostatitis and the WBC≧ 10 HP in EPS asⅢb. Further EPS review within 2-4 weeks after diagnosis, And take some other diagnostic assessment such as prostate B-scan ultrasonography or NIH-CPSI symptom scale in its review.All statistical analysis will be completed with the SPSS 13.0 software package. We can obtained the ratio of EPS results with changing by statistical methods after the end of the sample statistics. Then grouped according to whether the changes appear, compare differences in age NIH-CPSI between the groups was significant or not. Obtain the P values by Chi-square test with count data (or a 2x3 chi-square test) method, and we can clear that whether the index can be has a secondary value in prostatitis diagnosis of type III. ResultsTotally 119 outpatients (age 17-55 years, mean age 32±9) for statistical research, all of the subjects review the EPS 2-4 weeks after they diagnosed. There were 34 patients whom the results of review have changed, and even affect theirⅢa\Ⅲb typing, rate was 28.57%.And in these 34 patients, by the change of fromⅢa toⅢb was 22 cases, on the contrary, there were 12 cases changed from Illb toⅢa. Divided into two groups for statistical research based on whether they Changed or not. No-change group, average age 30±8 years, and the mean age 37±10 years in change group. We can found according to two sample t test to compare two sets of data, t=3.9134 p<0.001'The age difference between the two groups are statistically significant. Based on with or without pus ball in the first test of EPS and then were compared,85 patients in No-change group,there were 13 cases of them with pus ball in the EPS'in the other hand,there were 12 cases with pus ball in the first diagosed. Based on count data analysis of Chi-square test, p<0.05, statistically significant. The two groups were given NIH-CPSI scale test, The no-change group and the change group, the cases of Mild, moderate, and severe were the number of 45,29,11 and 15,15,4. Analysis of the 2×3 chi-square test, p> 0.05,there was not significant.between groups. Conclusion1) Change classification was significantly associated with age, and the average age of the changed group was older. (2)Pus ball-positive patients significantly increased the rate of change, Changes were significantly higher positive rate of pus ball. (3)Changes in patients with positive DRE was significantly higher, DRE abnormal changes were significantly higher. (4)Duration and type of symptoms and no obvious correlation...
