Objective : To improve the diagnosis and treatment of complex pheochromocytoma. Methods:A retrospective analysis of the clinical data of 23 patients with complex pheochromocytoma between 2005.1 and 2011.1.Results : In the cases of this group, 14 cases were located at adrenal(60.87%),and 9 cases were located at extra-adrenal(39.13%).11 cases (47.83%) come to clinic due to headache, palpitations, sweating and other typical symptoms,9 cases (39.13%) were discovered tumer by imaging detection, and 3 cases (13.04%) come to clinic Because of accidentally touching the mass. The positive rate of norepinephrine was 90.9% (20/22),and epinephrine positive rate was 36.36% (8 / 22)。B-ultrasound, CT , MRI diagnosis of the position were in line with the rate of 100%,in line with the rate of qualitative diagnosis of 36.36%, 70.00%, 83.33%. the rate of qualitative diagnosis of B-ultrasound was significantly lower than CT or MRI (P <0.05), CT and MRI diagnosis rate is qualitatively similar(P> 0.05).It is a positive linear correlation between the maximum value of preoperative systolic blood pressure and the fluctuations in the value of intraoperative arterial pressure, the Correlation coefficient was 0.618,(P<0.05). It is also a positive linear correlation between the maximum value of preoperative diastolic blood pressure and the fluctuations in the value of intraoperative arterial pressure, the Correlation coefficient was 0.573,(P<0.05). Post-operative blood pressure was significantly reduced compared to preoperative blood pressure. Conclusions: 1.Complex pheochromocytoma in a variety of clinical manifestations, some patients played by catecholamine-related increase in symptoms, atypical symptoms and no clinical symptoms of patients accounts for a proportion of pheochromocytoma .2.Determination of catecholamines in the blood is an efficacious diagnosis method.Determination of norepinephrine was more sensitive in the diagnosis of pheochromocytoma than epinephrine3.The rate of qualitative diagnosis of B-ultrasound was significantly lower than CT or MRI, CT and MRI diagnosis rate is qualitatively similar(P> 0.05).4.It is a positive linear correlation between the maximum value of preoperative blood pressure and the fluctuations in the value of intraoperative arterial pressure,Post-operative blood pressure was significantly reduced compared to preoperative blood pressure.
