Main methods of modern medicine are as follows:giving patients the right amount of exercise and gastrointestinal motility enhancing drugs after surgery, but there are many restrictions for these. External treatment method of Chinese medicine are so many, simple and popular, but at present many defects seriously affect the clinical promotion. These defects mainly reflected in:lack of the diagnosis and treatment standards and uniform evaluation standard, design is not scientific, no control group, observed indicators are considerable arbitrariness, lack of convincing, it is difficult to obtain accurate data and information and lack of experimental research on pathogenesis.ObjectiveFrom the study, we want to scientifically and systematically evaluate the efficacy and safety of electroacupuncture for postoperative recovery of gastrointestinal function, and build the formation of technical operation to easily practice in clinic.MethodAll cases selected for the August 2010 to April 2011 in the surgical department of Fangcun branch of Guangdong Provincial Hospital, these 52 cases of abdominal surgery patients with TCM diagnosis of qi stagnation and fu-organ. We recorded somethings about intestinal beep, exhaust, defecation and food after randomization and used spss17.0 statistical software package analysising the data.Result 1. Electroacupuncture can be effective for abdominal bowel sounds resume in 72 hours after surgery.2. Electroacupuncture in the patients can promote earlier discharge defecation.3. electroacupuncture can reduce bloating in the extent and reduce the incidence of abdominal distention, but can not reduce the incidence of abdominal pain.4. Electroacupuncture in the earlier patients can stimulate the production of hunger, and reduce the number of days of hospitalization of patients.ConclusionElectroacupuncture surgery can promote the recovery of gastrointestinal function, early discharge bowel in patients after abdominal, reducing the incidence of abdominal distension, nausea and vomiting, and promote early recovery of patients.
