ObjectiveTo investigate the clinical effect of combinatorial multifunctional dynamic orthosis in the treatment of Adhesion of Tendon in HandMethodTotal 22 cases of Tendon injury in hand were collected in a period of June 2010 to March 2011. All of them received tendon repairing first. then had worn adjustable Multifunctional dynamic Orthosis for 3 months to observe the TAM (total active movement) digital quantity, and compare with the result of 20 cases which were in the treatment of without using adjustable Multifunctional dynamic Orthosis of the Adhesion of Tendon in Hand, were analyzed. In this study, the total active range of hand-Determination Act (total active movement, TAM) for functional evaluation to postoperative complication rate, second reoperation rate as needed to improve the function of the main observed.ResultsTendon injury might cause limb disturbance, while wearing adjustable Multifunctional dynamic Orthosis could repair tendon defect immediately and reconstruct the function, At post treatment 3 months following-up, TAM assessment of hand function:①The TAM of prior treatment using Hand dynamic Orthosis compare with the TAM of post treatment 12 weeks in experiment group. Manage by t-test, (P<0.05), there are significant difference between two groups. The TAM was improved evidently in pre-treatment and post treatment in treatment group. And the TAM of post treatment 12 weeks of experiment group compare with the TAM of post treatment 12 weeks of control group. Manage by t-test, (P<0.05), there are significant difference between two groups, the TAM of experiment group is better than the conventional groups.②The hand functional total excellent and good rate of experiment group was 90%, The hand functional total excellent and good rate of control group was 62.2%. In flexor tendonⅠ,Ⅱregion the total excellent and good rate of the experimental group was 72.7%, better than the control groups 41.7%(P<0.05). In flexor tendonⅢ,Ⅳ,Ⅴregion the total excellent and good rate of the experimental group was 90%, better than the control groups 61.9% (P<0.05). In extensor tendonⅠ,Ⅱ,ⅢⅤregion the total excellent and good rate of the experimental group was 94.8%, better than the control groups 76.5% (P <0.05). In extensor tendonⅣregion the total excellent and good rate of the experimental group was84.6%, better than the control groups 63.7% (P<0.05).③1 cases need to do second tendon adhesion-lisis operation in the experimental group,4.5% of total sum, and 7 cases need to do second tendon adhesion-lisis operation in the experimental group,35% of total sum. There was no untoward effect report in treatment group.ConclusionThe hand adhesion of tendon following tendon injury of hand dynamic orthosis treatment, excellent recovery of hand function up to 91.2% efficiency, adhesion of tendon is common in hand surgery, Hand dynamic orthosis has satisfying efficiency of lessening adhesion. It could make good effect in clinic. It could lessen the adhesion of tendon markedly, recover Hand-function of patient, and there were no untoward effect report in the application process. For its convenient, Definite effect, no untoward effect, high safe rates, the hand dynamic orthosis treatment worth being popularized in clinical application.
