| Dysmenorrhea is a common and difficule disease in gynaecology.The common treatment is the analgesic, but the effect is transitory and have a side-effect of gastrointestinal tract disorder. With the development of our society, the attention to the female and the demand to the quality of life, clinic doctor need to find a treatment to heal the dysmenorrhea systematic and fundamentally. There was a long history and rich experience to treat dysmenorrheal in Traditional Chinese Medical, which is accepted by patients because of diverse, convenience, economy and satisfactory effects.Objective:To seek the etiopathogenesis of primary dysmenorrhea by the prospective study, and prove whether it related with the existence of PI and RI which in the dysmenorrhea and uterine artery blood flow. TO observe the relation between the change of uterine hemodynamic and dysmenorrheal berore and after treat the patients of blood stasis type by Powder for Dissipating Blood Stasis.Methods:Choose 60 primary dysmenorrhea of blood stasis type in the Gynecology clinic and ward of Guangzhou City of Chinese Medicine Hospital, the age is 12-35.Devide them into two group by randomization. The 30 patients in experimental group treated by Powder for Dissipating Blood Stasis, including 7 cases of severe dysmenorrhea, moderate in 16 cases and mild in 7 cases;the 30 patients in control group terated by Jinfo Pill of Relieving Pain, including 6 cases of severe dysmenorrhea, moderate in 15 cases, mild in 9 cases (through x2 test the results showed that:P= 0.84> 0.05, the difference between the two groups has not statistically significant). To analyse the PI,RI of uterine artery before the treament,after two monthes and three monthes of the treament by the statistics, and compare the degree of symptom improvement in patients before and after treatment, with dysmenorrhea score scale for efficiency of statistical analysis.Result:1,Powder for Dissipating Blood Stasis has a true effect on primary dysmenorrhea, The total effective rate of experimental group is 96.7%, the control group treated by Jinfo Pill of Relieving Pain has been used in clinical for many years, which is effective, and the total effective rate of control group is 86.7%, the difference has no statistically significant (P>0.05). The difference of uterine artery PI,RI wether after two months course or three months course of treatment is significant (P<0.05).2,Both Powder for Dissipating Blood Stasis and Jinfo Pill of Relieving Pain could treat the Primary Dysmenorrhea of Blood Stasis Type, which reduced the PI and RI existing in patients'arterial blood of the uterus after two months course or three months course of treatment. They were significantly different in in-groups and between groups (P<0.05).Note:Individual differences are not statistical significant due to lack of time that the drug may function.3,Both Pain and total score of objective quality of life decrease after the treatment. Powder for Dissipating Blood Stasis and Jinfo Pill of Relieving Pain are safe and markedly effective in controlling symptoms, which means that the curative effect of Powder for Dissipating Blood Stasis and Jinfo Pill of Relieving Pain is accurate.Conclusion:1,Powder for Dissipating Blood Stasis has a true effect on primary dysmenorrhea, proving that Powder for Dissipating Blood Stasis is one of the effective treatment to the Primary Dysmenorrhea of Blood Stasis Type.2,After treatment, this research reveals that there is correlation between PI and RI of arterial blood of the uterus. Powder for Dissipating Blood Stasis and Jinfo Pill of Relieving Pain both have an effect on arterial blood of the uterus, which is a good way to improve arterial blood of the uterus. Finally, and Powder for Dissipating Blood Stasis is better than Jinfo Pill of Relieving Pain in treatment.
