[Objective]The objective of this research is to investigate the constitutional type of the women suffering from endometriosis (EM) and normal women. We find patients with endometriosis physical bias, conclude its special physical types, so as to prevent endometriosis, and provide the basis for individualized treatment.[Method]In this study, we use physical scale to investigate the endometriosis patients and normal healthy females. The researchers determined constitutional type. We use statistical software SPSS17.0 to analyze the data. We find the differences in physical distribution between the endometriosis patients and normal healthy women.[Results](1)Among 90 EM patients, the oldest is 42 years old, the youngest is 21 years old. The average age is 30.34±4.66 years old.(2)Among 90 EM patients,59 cases suffer the pain of the pelvic cavity, accounting for 65.56%.49 cases suffer dysmenorrhea (mild patients have 21 cases, moderate patients have 18 cases, severe patients have 10 cases), patients with pelvic pain due to mass rupture have 2 cases and 8 patients with chronic pelvic pain.53 cases suffer infertility, accounting for 58.89%. Menstrual disorders have 15 cases, accounting for 16.67%. Dysmenorrhea, infertility, pelvic mass, menstrual disorders have no association with physical distribution.(3) It has significant difference in structures of constitution around the two groups (P=0.025<0.05). The distribution of constitution shows that:in 90 EM patients, the more proportion types are blood-stasis type (17.33%) and dampness-heat type (15.11%). They have statistical differences in structures of constitution around the two groups (P<0.05). Patients of two biased constitution are divided into 3 groups:blood-stasis type; dampness-heat type; blood-stasis and dampness-heat type. There is no statistical differences among the three groups, P=0.472 (P>0.05).(4)Endometriosis can be divided into small, light, moderate and severe. It has no statistical differences in structures of constitution around these four groups (P=0.983>0.05).(5) It has no statistical differences in structures of constitution around the native group and non-native group of Guangdong Province (P>0.05).[Conclusion](1)In this research, the average age of EM patients is 30.34±4.66 years old. This stage is the reproductive period. Normal menstrual cramps in the reproductive period. Menstrual endometrial glandular epithelial and stromal cells flow back with the menstruation, plant in the pelvic cavity, then format pelvic endometriosis. After menopause or after ovariectomy, ectopic endometrial tissue may be gradually shrinking. And the reproductive period is sexually active. It easily lead to pelvic inflammatory disease. Environmental changes within the pelvic cavity. The scavenging of pelvic reduces. It easily lead to the occurrence of endometriosis.(2) Dysmenorrhea, infertility, pelvic mass, menstrual disorders have no association with physical distribution.(3) The incidence of EM is related to blood-stasis type and dampness-heat type. The incidence of endometriosis is not the interactional result of thetwo biased constitutional types.(4) It has no statistical differences in structures of constitution around the four stages of endometriosis (P>0.05). There was no correlation between Dysmenorrhea, infertility, ovarian endometriosis, menstrual disorders and the stage of endometriosis.(5) It has no statistical differences in structures of constitution around the native group and non-native group of Guangdong Province (P>0.05). The survey conducted in Guangzhou. The constitution may be affected by climate, diet, leaving some physical changes.
