Essential public health services are the foundation of essential medical services systems as well as the significant content of maintaining social stability and building harmonious society. It is very important for developing community essential public health services to relieve the difficulty in getting medical service and to lower medical charges.Objectives:After investigating and analysising scientifically,we want to describe the situations and factors influencing of essential public health services providing, to sum up the experiences, then to come to suggestions for developing essential public health services in Yunnan.Contents:1. The understanding and supporting for essential public health services of the leaders in health department and other related departments of government.2. The situations and the problems of essential public health services providing in community.3. investigating the need,satisfaction degree of residents for essential public health services.Methods:On the basis of collecting the existing information of all levels of health administrative departments and CHS, the researchers together the methods of questionnaire and qualitative interview to describe the situations of essential public health services in Qujing, Chuxiong and Kunming of Yunnan, analysis the factors influence for developing essential public health services.Conclusion:In the three areas,the Results of essential public health services variety from low level to high level. The workings of essential public health services aren't careful. It lacks pertinence. The major factors influence for develping essential public health services involve the supporting degree of other department of government is low,compensated mechanism isn't health, the network system of community health services obstructed, both of the quantity and quality of the public health working staff is low level.Reconnnendations:inorder to develop essential public health services deeply,we need to strengthing the responsibility of government,carrying out the policies,constructing the network system of community health services,building the linkage system in the departments, setting up a efficient management system of funds, constructing the inherent of community health services powerfully,altering the train of thought of working,developing the working mode, raising the quality of service.
