Clinical Study On The Treatment Of Primary Dysmenorrheal With Internal And External Treatment Of Wenjingzhitong Decoction

Objective:Through observing the therapeutic efficacy of Wenjngzhitong with internal and external treatment decoction in the treatment of primary dysmenorrheal (PD),the author aims to provide scientific proof of clinical apply on Wenjingzhitong decoction.Method:60 case of the patients with PD were collected with Internal and External treatment of Wenjingzhitong Decoction and the control group of 30 cases treated with Shaofu Zhuyu Pill. Both groups take medicines 5 days before menstruation,for 7 consecutive days, one menstruation period is a course, after three course.take an evaluation,observing changes on symptom and painless indicators before and after treatment. At times, Doppler index values of uterin artery were measured during menstruation and were measured prior to and following the treatment.Results:Both medicines could improve clinical symptoms, however,in treatment group, the effective rate was 90.00%, significant difference (P<0.05) with the control group (70.00%).It is dictated that the efficacy of treatment group is better than that of controlling group.2.Both medicines could lower plainness indicators, however, in treatment group, the effective rate was 93.33%,significant difference (P<0.05) with the control group (73.33%).3. The treatment group has no obvious abnormal changes on blood, urina, stool routine, hepatorenal dysfunction and electrocardiogram.It indicates that Wenjing Zhitong decoction with internal and external treatment is safe and effective and has no side effect in clinical use.Conclusion:The primary dysmenorrhea's main pathogenesis is cold and blood stasis. Warming meridians to dissipate cold and activating blood and stopping pains are effective curing methods to cold and blood stasis. Wenjing Zhitong decoction with internal and external treatment can alleviate the major symptoms of PD quickly, in especial, and there is remarkably curative effect on improving dysmenorrheal symptoms and TCM symptoms aspects.It is worthy further popularizing and studying in clinical use.
